About Us

It was the Greek poet Homer who imbued each of his heroes with the concept of Arete: the desire which compels individuals to strive for excellence. That motivation is not limited to a field, a study or a position. It is an ongoing challenge which urges participants to search for a better way, to achieve a higher level, to provide a better service. The College of Education and Professional Studies seeks to encourage Arete within each individual enrolling in our studies. Our heritage allows no less; our conviction accepts no less.
